What is Air Break Circuit Breaker?
The low voltage Air Break Circuit Breaker shown in the figure is designed for dissipation capacity up to 15 kV.Voltage. They are used in both types of voltages. These are called primary contacts (CC) Horn shaped arcane contacts are often made of carbon alloy, which propels the arc produced in the circuit baker‘s operating state (towards the horn ends). Due to the strong magnetic field, the arc is pulled upwards, and the length of the arc increases. Hence the arc ends.
