1.Water level indicator ( Water Level Indicator – Their function is to show the water level inside the boiler at all times. Two water level indicators are installed on each boiler. If one indicator gets damaged then the second indicator will show the level of water.
2.Safety Valve – In every boiler steam is generated at a certain pressure, but sometimes due to some reasons this pressure increases and there is a fear of boiler bursting. Therefore, safety valves are installed so that the pressure of the steam does not increase beyond a certain pressure.
3.High Steam Low Water Alarm – Both low water and high steam pressure in the boiler are dangerous. Due to less water, the steam tubes and boiler shell plates in the boiler can melt and the boiler can explode if the steam pressure is high. A high steam low water alarm is used to protect the boiler from both these hazards.

4.Pressure Gauge- With the help of manometer, the pressure of steam in the boiler is determined. Pressure gauge is always the effective pressure. tells. Therefore, to find the absolute pressure, most Burden manometers are used. (Bourdon pressure gauge) only is used.
5.(Steam Stop Valve)- It is used to remove or shut off the quantity of steam from the boiler. If necessary, it can also be turned off completely.

(a) To determine the amount of water to be filled in the boiler.
(b) Do not allow water to flow out of the boiler when the feed pump is turned off or its pressure is low.
7.Blow off Cock- It is installed at the bottom of the boiler compartment. When the boiler is filled with water, the impurities dissolved in the water settle at the bottom of the cell. Therefore, it is necessary to take out this sediment that has accumulated from time to time. Thus the dewatering spout has the following functions
(a) To remove the precipitated impurities from the boiler.
(b) Quick emptying of boiler for internal cleaning and inspection.
8.Fusible Plug- When the water level in the boiler falls below a fixed level, it melts instantly and through these the steam and water extinguish the fire of the furnace and the boiler automatically shuts down. Is.
