What Is a Halogen Lamp?

A Halogen lamp is the latest lamp in the category of incandescent lamps which is much better than the regular lamp. Filling a small amount of halogen gas with an inert gas such as argon and N2 almost stops the evaporation of tungsten as the tungsten vapor is returned to the filament by a chemical reaction.

3. The perimeter of the lamp is small.
4. Good colored lamps can be made.
5. Lamps up to 5kW can be made.
